About
RAW Apps is one of a group of websites by Roland Waddilove, a self-employed freelance writer. I write about mobile phones and tablets, PCs and peripherals, Apple Macs, Windows, OS X and Linux, the internet, hints, tips and tweaks, software, programming, problems and solutions, tutorials, articles and more.
Almost everything on this website has been designed, created and written by myself. I have been using computers for fun and for work since the 1980s and my first computer was a Sinclair ZX-81.
These days though, I use Windows 8 and 7 on desktop and laptop computers, and still have a PC running XP - it just keeps on going. I also use OS X on Apple MacBooks, and even occasionally use Linux.
As far as mobile computing goes, I currently use an iPad 2, an iPad 4 and an iPhone 5, a Samsung Galaxy S4, a Google Nexus 7 and an Amazon Kindle Fire.
