I was at my local McDonalds the other day and thought I'd spend a few minutes on the internet checking websites, email and so on. Sometimes the phone automatically signs in to Wi-Fi hotspots, but sometimes it doesn't. It sometimes helps to go to a website like bing.com to trigger the sign-in. I got a weird message saying that access to the site had been restricted to ensure only appropriate content can be accessed. Other websites were working OK, so I guess I was signed in OK.
I returned today and again tried to access bing.com and got the same message, yet other websites are OK. This is clearly not a fault and is a deliberate blocking of Bing. What is wrong with Bing and why has McDonald's blocked it? Google is allowed by the way.
