Clickbait headlines

I find clickbait headlines increasingly annoying. You've seen them countless times, headlines with 'weird', 'trick', terrifying', 'you won't believe what happened next', and so on. It has got to the point where I don't click on articles that have them. If we all pull together and refuse to click them they'll go away as their effectiveness diminishes. So stop clicking them! Is there anything else that annoys you with web articles, headlines, clickbait etc?

    They are a pet hate of mine too. I try not to use them, even though they might work, and I am always suspicious of articles with clickbait headlines. Sometimes the link to an article and the headline when you get there are different - the headline is more normal (no terrifying weird tricks).
